When taking a shot, I search for the soul–a special moment that takes you there. This old jetty really spoke to me. I had spotted it a couple days earlier, but the conditions were not right. Waking up at 4:30 am, I trekked back along the beach to this location. I set up my tripod in anticipation and waited for the morning to share her beauty with me. There is nothing else like the cool morning air of the Atlantic filling your lungs! I chose a very strong perspective, looking straight down the jetty. As twilight gave in to day, I noticed amazing cloud formations casting a gorgeous glow over the ocean.
